About Retrogenix
Company Background
In 2008, pharmaceutical scientist Jim Freeth identified a powerful approach to quickly identify compound-protein interactions using Cell Microarray Technology. Recognising the potential importance of this approach to the drug discovery process, Jim formed Retrogenix with fellow scientist Jo Soden to further develop the new process into a valuable service for pharmaceutical companies.
In 2009, Retrogenix successfully raised private equity investment to support the development process and secured expertise to help bring the resulting service to a commercial reality.
